Photometric Analysis of the OGLE Heartbeat Stars

This directory contains the OGLE catalog of heartbeat binary systems
in the Small Magellanic Cloud.
The directory structure is as follows:
README - this file
ident.dat - identification of stars
hb.dat - basic parameters of heartbeat binary systems
model.dat - Kumar's model parameters and uncertainties obtained
using MCMC analysis

(BLG - Galactic bulge, LMC - Large Magellanic Cloud,

Note (2):
RG = system contaning a red giant star;
MS = system contaning a main-sequence (or post main-sequence) star.
Note (3): From OCVS or (if does not exist) the best match with
SIMBAD/AAVSO/ASAS-SN database.

Finding charts are gzipped Postscript images. These are 1'x1' subframes
of the I-band reference frames centered on the star. White cross marks the
star. North is up and East to the left.
Figures related to the MCMC modeling of light curves using Kumar's model
are Portable Network Graphics (.png) images.
Any presentation of the scientific analysis or usage of the data from the
catalog of heartbeat stars in the Small Magellanic Cloud should include the appropriate
reference(s) to OGLE paper(s).
