Into the Darkness: Classical and Type II Cepheids in the Zona
Galactica Incognita

Dekany, I. Hajdu, G., Grebel, E.K., and Catelan, M., Astrophysical
Journal 2019, 883, 58.

** 129 Dekany's et al. objects cross-identified with OGLE Cepheids
   (38+4 CCs, 2+85 T2CEPs)

** 1148 (745+403) Dekany's et al. objects out of 1169 non-OGLE_crossed
are located in the OGLE observed fields

** 447 (307+140) out of 1148 have entries in the OGLE databases

** Statistics up to I=19 mag (limit of the OGLE survey and its
   reasonable classification):

   190 (131+59) stars Dekany's stars have OGLE counterparts (I <
   19 mag). In that:

Number of Cepheids: 20 classical Cepheids, 20 type II Cepheids, 2
   candidates, 129 already cross-identified with OGLE - total: 171

Number of eclipsing stars: 88 (68+20)

Number of spotted stars: 26 (19+2+5)

Number of non-classifications (no or strange variability; certainly
   non-Cepheids): 26 (12+14)

Number of objects with no data (few points, overexposed): 8 (4+4)

Number of all type Cepheids: 171

Number of stars checked: 311 (42+88+26+26+129)

Purity of the Dekany's et al. sample (OGLE I-band mag down to I < 19
mag): 171 / 311 = 55%
