This directory contains the catalog of eclipsing binary stars detected
during the OGLE-II microlensing search in the Large Magellanic Cloud.

The directory structure is as follows:

README -- this file

E.table.gz -- list of 2580 detected eclipsing binary stars (gzipped).
The columns are: number in the Catalog, Field, star ID,
		        RA(2000), DEC(2000), x, y coordinates in the reference
		        fts image, P(days), T_0 (HJD-245000), I_dia mag at
maximum, depth of the primary eclipse (I_dia magnitude),
phase of the secondary eclipse, depth of the secondary
eclipse (I_dia magnitude), I, V, B mag at maximum (from
standard OGLE-II photometry), eclipsing binary type,
		        overlapping star (0 if none).
Magic number -99.99 for secondary eclipse parameters
and for color columns means "no data".

EA_selected.table.gz -- list of 39 well detached binary systems well suited
for distance determination. Selection critera were:
		        I_dia < 16 mag, depth of the secondary eclipse > 0.2
mag. The columns are as above.
Please note that there are in fact 36 stars because 3
of them were detected in overlapping neighboring
		        fields (gzipped).
