All *.gz files are compressed with the gzip program.

The columns in map files contain:

DB_no_I   X_tpl  Y_tpl  V   V-I   I  sig_V  sig_I  DB_no_V 

where

DB_no_I - number in the I-band database,
X_tpl,Y_tpl - pixel coordinates in the I-band template image,
V, V-I, I - photometry data,
sig_V, sig_I - standard deviation of measurements in the V and I-band,
DB_no_V - number in the V-band database.

Any presentation of the scientific analysis or usage of the data from
the BVI maps of the SMC should cite the apropriate OGLE paper(s).
