This directory contains the OGLE catalog of star clusters in the SMC
fields observed in the course of the OGLE microlensing project and
results of analysis of these clusters.

This directory structure is as follows:

paper.ps.gz             - Postscript version of paper describing the
                          Catalog: Pietrzynski et al. Acta Astronomica
                          1998, 48, 175 (without the catalog)
 
clusters1.txt           - list of clusters found in algorithmic search
                          (computer readable version of Table 2)

clusters2.txt           - list of additional clusters found visually
                          (computer readable version of Table 3)

The photometric data files contain the following columns:

DB_no    V    B-V    V-I   sig_B    sig_V    sig_I

where

DB_no  - number in the database for easy identification with "BVI Maps
         of the SMC"

V, B-V, V-I  - photometry data,

sig_B, sig_V, sig_I - standard deviation of measurements in the  B, V
                      and I-band

WARNING!!! "Magic" numbers: 99.999 for magnitude and 9.999 for color
and standard deviation denote "no measurement".
